We’re hearing nothing about the UFOS.
This actually surprises me. I figure we’d have at least gotten a ‘There are no UFOs’ (which is the overwhelmingly likely, if boring answer). Instead… nothing about the UFOs.

There are absolutely objects with the appearance of flying which are obviously, as yet, unidentified.
Such an identification is bound to disappoint someone.
I grew up under the flight path between Groom Lake and Mountain Home.
I saw lots of UFOs, The most memorable one was notably the opposite of aerodynamic, made a weird humming sound, and I have no idea how the heck it stayed in the air. But they all had FAA mandated lights.
Sheer spite and test pilot testosterone. You would not believe what you can get machines to do when you imply that a marine’s manhood is less because he cannot get the thing to fly. Or if you tell a navy pilot that the air force will get it working first. Or if you suggest that the air force let anyone else get the thing working.
