Screaming banshees on the way down (and back), youngest decided that naptime is in fact a plot of Satan, eldest decided that dinner is in fact a plot of Satan, both children decided that 5:45 AM is a good time to start the day, grey slime*, the plaster in the ceiling in my mom’s dining room fell in, and my sister was briefly admitted to the hospital this morning. And, almost forgot: my wife lost her temper in the car.
So yes, in fact, I would love it if you bought me a goram beer the next time you see me.

*If you have kids, you already know what this is: if you don’t, you do not want to know.
I lost my dad a bit over 2 years ago, so all I have to celebrate today is the fact that am **not**, in fact, a father. **whew**, big sigh of relief…. ;D
I will be **quite** happy to buy you a beer, since you are doing an important job that I really want no part of.
@qixlqatl: I, on the other hand, am sad that I’m not a father yet. I want kids so much, it hurts.
@Moe: Ah, we all know you enjoy it too much. Why else have you forgone a job to stay home with the kids? LOL!
Yes, BG5, children **are** a blessing…the more of them belong to other people, the more blessed I am 😉
At one time I thought I wanted kids, too. But at 44 yrs old, I accept that it’s not going to happen, and I am quite content to let that particular vocation belong to others. I am just too tired for kids…….
