I live in Maine.
.
I’ve lived in Florida when I was in the Navy and didn’t enjoy the combo of heat and humidity at all.
.
My favorite weather is Maine in late September early October.
Although living in SoCal has the unpleasant side effect of being governed by Califorians, at least the weather is nice if you don’t get too far inland …
Heck, I’ve seen snow on Independence Day.
It’s said we have three seasons in Maine: Winter, Mud/flies, and the Fourth of July. In a good year.
Chicago has two – road salt, and road construction – with a two week period separating them that non-natives call “spring” and “fall”.

not to worry, Moe, climate change will ensure that snow never happens again. at least till the glaciers obliterate Canada.
Since its XCom Day, I’m blaming the snow on the Sectoids.
Just because you ask so nicely, it will keep on snowing.
I’m dreaming…
.
of a white Easter…
.
Just like the ones I used to know…

I’ve known some white Mother’s Days in the past. Let’s hope I don’t see one this year. I’m done with snow.
So… you’ve relocated to Miami (or perhaps Portland, OR) then?
