Since apparently I have readers who play GURPS, let me note that the new GURPS Aliens: Sparrials has many laudable qualities. First off, it’s a good update to the classic GURPS Aliens writeup (Sparrials are an alien race suitable for thief and generally sneaky types). Second, it’s hopefully a harbinger of future updates of classic GURPS Alien races (I hold out hope for someday getting the Liook Sijun*). Third, it was written by Beth McCoy, who is an old friend of mine and a fine person to know.
So, hey, go and buy it.
