Although why it decided to collapse on me just as I was trying to get some posting done is still a minor mystery, alas. Clearly it was a subtle hint from the universe that I should try to, you know, relax or something. It’s been that kind of week, and it’s only Tuesday.

It must be bad luck week, my main laptop ate its hard disk yesterday and stopped booting. I’ve rescued most of my home directory but still 1300+ files were damaged. The fsck on the disk took 6 hours, the file copy took 8 hours.
