The BioLite Wood Burning Campstove is basically a stove the size of a water bottle that recharges your USB devices. That is so going on the Wish List for Pennsic; I don’t need it, but in terms of sheer swank it’s totally worth it. My wife thinks that a solar panel array is more efficient, of course – and, sure, the Goal Zero 41001 Switch 8 Silver/Black Solar Recharging Kit is also pretty dang cool. But a wood-burning USB charger sounds like it’d be useful under more conditions.
