I will admit, I normally have a certain prejudice towards seeing this song performed in a restrained, if not actually minimalist manner. …But I’ll allow it, in this case. They brought a lot of drums to that party.

Well, I’ll be. A singer who actually decided that the purpose of this song was not to make the singer look good. Sorry, but I’ve heard some really obnoxious, overworked covers of this song.
