The Soon-To-Be-Epic Buzzfeed/State Department Email Meltdown.

Submitted without comment.  Unless a (NSFW) warning counts.  Or my eyebrow – which is not so much ‘raised’ as it is ‘in low Earth orbit’ – does.

PS: OK, one comment… Yes, indeed, you are not the only person out there who thinks that neither side won that exchange.

  • Rob Crawford says:

Ah, but the good news is I wanted both sides to lose.

  • tnfriendofcoal101368 says:

    Obama administration kicking Buzzfeed? WTF?

  • Darin H says:

Hey, rooting for Dem/media injuries finally paid off…

  • Well, duh. But I must point out that in this exchange, the damage to each side seems to be self-inflicted.

Just a bit of advice guys. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t be in the habit of tossing nuclear hand grenades. Its a great way to win the Darwin award.

  • Spegen says:

will we see the same media freak-out we did when Romney staffer yelled at the media? Um, no.

  • Lourae says:

Cracks in the media protection racket? Or lover’s quarrel?

  • Matt S. says:

I like the “All the best, Michael” bit. It’s got the punch of the f— off without saying it.

  • Mikey NTH says:

Neither side may have won, but State Dept. definitely lost. Why? Because everyone* expects the press to be jerks, and everyone expects diplomats to be diplomatic.**

    *Sane observers.
**The definition that goes “Telling someone to GTH in such a way that he looks forward to the trip.”
