#rsrh So, Biden’s avoided taking questions since May.

I suspect that ABC has its own suspicions as to why.

When Vice President Joe Biden steps on the stage at Centre College for the Vice Presidential debate in Kentucky Thursday night, it will be the first time the vice president has been on national television airwaves answering questions from a reporter since the May Meet the Press interview when he expressed his comfort with gay marriage.

The vice president has engaged in no national TV interviews and few local and print interviews since that May questioning session which forced President Obama to complete his evolution on the issue sooner than expected.

…Personally, I am not as sanguine about the VP debate as some people on my side are.ย  Unlike Obama, many people actually personally like Joe Biden; he could undo a lot of the damage that Obama did to the Democrats.ย  Still…

Yeah, I know that Rocky won that fight.ย  The problem for the Democrats is that they haven’t gotten to that part of the movie yet, and probably won’t until 2016.

Biden has a real gift for lying you can truly think he believes whatever come out of his mouth, no matter how ridiculous the statement is. That “ability” is very hard to beat.

  • Prayerborne says:

I feel like that scene was from before the FIRST Balboa-Lang fight, which Rocky lost badly, rather than the rematch at the end of the movie.

  • NotSoBlueStater says:

Problems for Ryan: 1. The bar couldn’t be any lower for the man who tied TheStupidestWomanEverToWalkUpright(tm). 2. Ryan, while as smart as they come, may not like the restrictions of the format, as he’s an explainer by nature. Imagine, though, if the reality of the difference in these two men actually emerges Thursday…

  • Trent says:

    You can’t debate stupid

  • acat says:

Unless Ryan has a literally encyclopaedic knowledge base in his head .. he isn’t going to be able to fact-check Sheriff Joe … so it’s up to Ryan to put Plugs on the defensive early (the way Romney did to Obama) and then keep punching …
