I miss Golden Age SF.

Not that I ever experienced it firsthand.  Still, here’s Randall Garrett adapting Isaac Asimov’s The Caves of Steel to verse form.

PS: Randall Garrett did the same thing to The Demolished Man.  Both of these are great fun to sing, by the way.

    Have you read Garrett’s parody of Doc Smith, “Backstage Lensman”? It’s a tremendous hoot…Smith thought it was hilarious, too.

    Wow…that is an old Filk song book…I think I have a mimeographed version of that somewhere.. Great stuff though.

    Randall Garrett wrote a lot of great humorous SF.
