Why? Gridlock, my droogies. Gridlock.
One needn’t agree with every last one of Baker’s views to conclude that, at this time, the Republican nominee would provide the best counterpoint to the instincts of an overwhelmingly Democratic Legislature. His candidacy opens up the possibility of creative tension.
(Bolding theirs) Not too much, thanks to Massachusetts’ super-majorities, but what the heck. I’ll take it. Besides, you can tell that the Globe gritted their teeth for this one. That’s always worth a chuckle.

Jaw hit the floor when I saw that. Can we say republican wave yet?
Moe, and now Scott Brown gets endorsed by the Nashua Telegraph, http://www.nashuatelegraph.com/opinion/editorials/1049973-465/our-choice-in-the-us-senate-race.html and the comment section goes nuts.
I can’t read any of it because it is BEHIND A PAY WALL!!!
I will laugh if Scott Brown gets back into the Senate, and I hope he spends all 6 years of it annoying the crap out of Liz Warren.
What’s a droogie?
Clockwork Orange reference.
DOH!! I knew I should know that. That movie left an impression, I’ll say, but I haven’t watched it but one time….twenty something years ago.
