Wesley Clark on MSNBC: hey, let’s put dissidents in internment camps!

God, this is one of those times when I would have loved to have had footage of the MSNBC control room. I wonder when the screaming started?

[UPDATE: Alas, I have had it pointed out to me that the embedded video itself was originally put onto YouTube from a detestably anti-Semitic source, which is why the embed is no longer available on this page. Give them links at your peril.]

Via @JOdomian and @seanmdav.  And God damn but Wesley Clark is crazy, huh? – And before you say ‘Good,’ remember: he actually means you.  And me, too: remember, it’s not just Islamists who have a problem with the US government these days.  Apparently Clark wants to stick us all in the same camp.

…Good luck with that!

  1. So, what would be the logistics of that? I guess you’ld wall off the Midwest. Well, and the South too, obviously. Maybe a bunch of western states…Really just build walls around a few metropolitan areas and call the rest The Camp. Nobody allowed to cross the walls. I’m actually starting to warm up to this idea….Instead of ‘The Camp’, maybe go with ‘The Outland’.

  2. As one of the few flag level officers that’s a Democrat and willing to shill on the National stage for whatever policy\stratagem the ‘good idea fairy’ has implanted in The Party’s collective, I’m not really surprised he can still find a platform or would be sought out for his opinion. But holy hell, any objective analysis of the good General’s prior track record (both as a ‘expert’ and his military career) is a massive clue that this guy’s thoughts are worth less than a warm bucket of spit. Granted Democrat & MSM…

Still, anybody that knows (or should know) about General Clarke’s incident at the Pristina airport towards the end of the Yugoslav war should be reluctant to trot him out as any sort of adviser\expert.

  3. I’m not likely to forget.
Something about having the government lable you a potential terrorist tends to stick with you.

  4. “I wonder when the screaming started?”

    *salivating

If you are looking to hire an editor, let me know. 😉

  5. MSNBC encourages this, they want this – they need attention in the same way water and air is needed. They are the Donald Trump of cable news in the way that they need attention and that no means of getting attention is beneath them.

  6. MSNBC is still on the ‘air’? I… don’t know anyone who watches it. I don’t know of anyone who watches it.
