It let them think that it’s smart to do dumb [expletive deleted] like this.
A Depression-era Lebanon Valley College leader with the last name Lynch has found himself thrust into the middle of a roiling 21st-century debate on campus civil rights.
Students at the private college in Annville have demanded administrators remove or modify Dr. Clyde A. Lynch’s last name, as it appears on a campus hall, due to the associated racial connotations.
:pause:
Oh, grow the [expletive deleted] up.

i blame them outside agitators… they’se always the problem
The college failed the students.
The high schools they went to failed the students.
The middle schools they went to failed the students.
The elementary schools they went to failed the students.
Their parents failed the students.
The churches that they went to (if any) failed the students.
Amy civic organizations they belonged to failed the students.
And we’re left with a generation of men without chests.
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

These idiots are making me rethink my opposition to reinstituting the draft.
Sadly, I’m pretty sure the parents of the worst offenders have the juice and determination to keep them from serving.
Go to point 5. Parents failed. These poor snowflakes have never probably ever held a part time job. Had to wait for or earn anything they desired. Don’t really understand money or budgets or… well, just anything.
Yes, a total failure all around.
They want to be passionate and don’t even know what is important enough to be passionate about. They have never, ever had one struggle in their lives that wasn’t smoothed over. That they were allowed to work on and fix.
If we could just send them all (not in mass clumps) to live with the Amish for a year or two… and understand work. deep sigh.
And I am just saying “Amish” because no mod cons.
I’m guessing none of these types ever saw the A-Team movie, either.
What? I actually liked that movie.
I had a lot of fun at that film. I knew everything was gonna be fine when Hannibal handcuffed the dogs. I was actually saying “Wait, Hannibal wouldn’t shoot a dog! What the hell is going on here ohhhh, OK, cool, never mind.”
