Oh, hey, Thieves Guild has dropped for Elder Scrolls Online.

I’ll have to check it out later. I’ve only been intermittently mucking about with The Elder Scrolls and The Secret World MMOs lately; no real excuse on ESO, though, because there’s still a bunch of content there that I haven’t mucked about with, yet. Something to look forward too…

  1. How is The Elder Scrolls Online? I’m asking because I am interested in it, but I do not want to get involved with anything that is going to put me on a schedule – whether set by the game or another person.

To explain, I like Skyrim* – a lot – but I will go in and play when I want to, for however as long as I want to, and may not come back for a few days. Is TES Online like that, you can play solitaire, just you and the game, or is it one of those things where you have to join a crew, fight other crews, be here to play at a certain time, etc., etc.

If it is the latter, then to heck with it. I got enough draws on my time I don’t need that – especially with warm weather and soft water approaching.

    *And Oblivion, and Morrowind.

    1. I had a good time playing solo, which is honestly mostly how I play it. I figure at some point I will get really into the group dungeon stuff, but for right now I’m cool.

  2. If they would design a cross-over game that had the Thieves Guild have a rivalry with an Assassins Guild that was set in NOLA with a playable character that could charge inanimate objects with kinetic energy, I would buy that game….
