Book of the Week: The Starry Wisdom Library.

I bought this one back in April; but it’s been a slow week, so I’m catching up on stuff. The Starry Wisdom Library: The Catalogue of the Greatest Occult Book Auction of All Time is indispensable for anybody doing Cthulhu Mythos gaming or writing. So indispensable, in fact, that I’m just going to use it as the definitive source for Mythos tomes from now on; there is no point in trying to improve on its entries, given how well it was put together originally.

And so, adieu to the Lost Fleet.  Which was excellent, all the way through.

  1. A little behind the curve on this former Book of the Week (or it could have been comments)
but I finally picked up Larry Correia’s Monster Hunter International series. WHAT FUN!

was at the book store really in want of something to read. Caught by the cover art of the new hardbacks, I picked up the first three in paperback, just to see if I liked them. Half way through the first I was ordering the rest off Amazon Prime.

Tickled w/ the John Ringo add-ons.

Took about 11 days to get through the 7 books but that did include order time and throwing a memorial celebration for a dear neighbor in our barn.

Now counting the days until the next release.

    1. Aha! Welcome to the club!
      .
Yeah, we’re gonna be waitin’ for a little bit. Did you find the short story collections too, or just the series-and-a-half? (i.e. Larry’s series of books + Ringo’s prequels)
      .
