Also, my eldest kid is REALLY getting into this stuff.  As in, making his own computerized stick-figure animations, drawing from here for inspiration.  Ain’t technology grand?  It’s like magic, only it actually works.  Dude’s name is Alan Becker, and his website is here.  My kid perked right up when he found out that Becker has tutorials.
