By any rational standard TANGLED should have been horrible. But it is not. It’s pretty much the opposite of horrible, really. And note that Honest Trailers let the movie off reaaaallly easy, too. Because Honest Trailers agrees with me on it.

“Better than Frozen”
Sheesh. Talk about a phrase that could start a knife-fight at a family picnic.
True though.
The songs, while less catchy, actually move the plot forward. About half of frozen’s songs are orthogonal to the plot. All of Tangled’s songs are plot critical.

And for the record, I would handily defeat all my relatives in a knife fight.
