I pretty much gave up after a half an hour, looked up the plot, and ejected the DVD. Which is weird: I like most of the actors in that film: but it just didn’t work for me at all. Maybe because I didn’t really like any of the characters?
No, I don’t know why I think that anyone else would particularly care if I liked a movie or not.
You should try Idiocracy if you haven’t already.
Saw that. Not bad, but it could have been cut down a little.
I saw “Burn After Reading” and I liked it. I did walk out thinking that not everyone would and if I wasn’t in a strange mood I wouldn’t of liked it either.
I think what happened here was that I was told “comedy,” but I wasn’t told “comedy like Fargo.” If I had, I wouldn’t have had the expectations that I did.
That I can belive. I always expect to see a dark comedy from the Choen Brothers.
So, basically, it’s the trailer’s fault. As usual. 🙂
