  1. If you’re into Steampunk, I’d definitely recommend checking out some of China Miéville’s novels — especially The Scar and Perdido Street Station.

    1. I had the hardest time getting into Perdido Street Station (not sure why). That was my Mieville gateway book; is The Scar sufficiently different that I should give it another shot?
