It being Saturday; plus, thanks to the Kindness of Strangers (or at least Readers) I was able to finally pick up an on-sale version of World in Conflict. So I’ll probably end up playing that a bit tonight.
What? The American side, of course. Aside from everything else, I’ve heard that Russian heavy stuff of the time was kind of not all that*.

*Feel free to contest that, using as much military minutiae as you please. It’s all good.
YGBSM…a Soviet invasion of America? Has Larry Bond started smoking crack? I’d love to see the rationale behind this one…even Red Dawn only had Soviet advisors to the Cuban and Nicaraguan invaders. :psyduck:
I believe that the rationale was “Fighting off the invasion of Coney Island would be way cool.”
If only there had been a PS3 version.
Oh well, as if my queue isn’t long enough already:
Makai Kingdom (barely started)
Disgaea 2
Disgaea 3
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (maybe a third done)
Mega Man 9 (barely started)
Final Fantasy IV-2 (done the Rydia side game)
Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (barely started)
Geometry Wars: Galaxies (I have medals to pick up…)
Etrian Odyssey (in progress)
Etrian Odyssey II
Picross DS (done a bunch)
About the only playing I’m getting in is on the elliptical, which mostly has been Civilization: Revolutions, picking up one of each victory of each civ. Probably dropping back to a combo of SimCity DS and Etrian Odyssey. Can only play DS games while exercising.
Oh yeah and Dragon Quest IX is coming soon. DQVIII was such a beautiful game, just so polished, that I cannot resist the next. Plus it’s on the DS so I get to play it while exercising!
Even a drunk Russian wouldn’t be dumb enough to invade Coney Island.
