Just got back from it – decent summer popcorn movie. Stay to the end of the credits. I will say that probably anyone that gives it a bad review was probably the wrong reviewer for the movie. It would be like me reviewing Bridget Jones Diary 7.
Oddly enough, it’s been open a week overseas (I’m in Kuwait, in a civilian capacity). It only suffers in comparison to, as you say, crystallized awesome.
(No Spoiler alert – both items are in the trailers)
On a sad note, to avoid outraging public decency, the Kuwaiti government (probably the ministry of avoiding fun things) clipped out the Iron Man Dancers, and the results of Tony’s internet search on the Scarlett Johanson character. 🙁
Tell me at least the Paltrow/Johanssen catfight rocked…
