First, watch this to fortify yourself.
I Love Rock N’ Roll, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
OK. You ready for the Deep Hurting?
I can only conclude that Joan Jett lost a bet.

You know, Britney would have gotten a ton of mileage out of this song about ten years ago, when she was, you know, popular and stuff.
Thank God for small miracles.
Sad to say, but Jeff is actually right. (I mean, I’m not sad that Jeff is right because I want Jeff to be wrong…I’m sad that Jeff is right because…well, you get it.) Britney sang a version of this song in the 2002 movie “Crossroads,” which she made when she was still a big deal. The Youtube link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVmXV1vmiOE, in case you want some REAL hurt. In fact, Moe, I’m not entirely sure that the video above isn’t some sort of remix of it.
And just to answer the questions that must be going through your mind: Yes, I own “Crossroads.” (I love to watch bad movies, and to make other people feel pain while watching them with me.) Yes, I’ve seen the movie multiple times, all with other people whom I wanted to torture. Yes, I bought it — out of the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. And yes, I did indeed feel dirty while doing so. Carry on.
I am the last person in the world to judge other people on their movie choices.
Don’t feel bad. I have a copy of “Zardoz”.
