Yeah, those lyrics are really ambiguous. The ’80s was a deep decade. [/sarcasm]
You should listen to mine kind of music.
Yeah, it’s a pleasant enough pop song. And I get that the lyrics are supposed to be a metaphor for the passing of youth (it’s not what you’d call subtle). But there is something very unseemly about a SoCal boy whining about the passing of summer.
