Ironically, when it comes to the post-Glorious Revolution Stuarts my sentiments are generally for the other side. More or less: it was several hundred years ago, after all. But it’s still a pretty powerful song.

Actually, Moe, it’s an anti-rising song. (Originally, anyway.)
Which is why I’m kind of on the other side. You’re not really allowed to be Irish Catholic/Scottish everything and not be for Bonnie Prince Charlie, at least theoretically. It’s considered… contrary. 🙂
