Media Matters for America was planning to go after freaking WorldNetDaily, and not RedState? That is a slight on my primary site’s honor, particularly since we had such an enviable track record in 2010 when it came to assisting candidates.
Then again, this does support the “David Brock is nuts” argument.

PS: OK, OK, admittedly in 2009 (when this enemies list was apparently compiled) the site had not yet actually assembled that 2010 track record, obviously. Still. WND. And David Vitter. Says a lot, doesn’t it? – Not as much as the Fox obsession, of course…

Maybe they realize at a subconscious level that they need to punch someone at their own level and not above, which would be WND and not RedState.
I love it how they have Rupert Murdoch on that memo, but he’s actually very liberal. He fund-raised for Hillary Clinton’s Senate re-election campaign and was personally excited about Barack Obama winning the 2008 election.
