I think that this song is representative of what Rage Against the Machine was trying to aim for with their “Killing in the Name Of.” If only RatM didn’t, you know, suck quite so badly.

I never got the impression that RATM was ever trying to do anything other than make ham fisted gestures…
Looks like Mitt is still worried about Newt; I’m getting a banner ad from ‘Restore Our Future Inc.’ (Mitt’s PAC) spewing crap about how Reagan supposedly hated Newt etc etc etc.
I like RatM better than the Beastie Boys. *shrug*
Still a b*tchin’ song though. The video cracks me up.
Sad thing is, Ill Communication came out almost 20 years ago- it’s old enough to vote- and the Beasties still haven’t bettered it.;
