*If we’re defining “outrageous” as “brutally accurate and highly embarrassing,” of course. And why should we not?
He’s not going to say even mildly controversial things. He’s going to follow McCain’s example and mealy-mouth, milquetoast his way to an acceptable, establishment-bonafides-protecting loss.
There are plenty of strong criticisms to be made that don’t require him to be outrageous or nasty, really. I just hope he makes them.
Heartbreak is right, he can keep pounding O’bamas overspending all campaign. Although I don’t believe complaining about the money spent on the shrimp treadmill would be outrageous, the D’s might.

Of course he won’t say anything that might make people think he was a Republican. Wouldn’t that be an embarassing mistake to make?
