And if it is, how many SAN points will I lose if I have it explained to me?

Yes, SAN loss will be x(d20), the coefficient of (d20) being x. Kind of funny that the coefficient of 43 is 1 when the answer for the meaning of the universe is 42, another math joke.
Well, I’m a math major and it didn’t make any sense to me (of course, it’s been a *few* years since I was in college…). Now, if he’d said 42 I would have at least laughed…
I think the 43 in meaningless, just the coefficient of 1 meaning picking a random number amongst 1 offered number.
PS: I am getting sick of looking at Grayson’s ugly mug every time I visit your site
Hate to break it to you, Spegen, but those ads are apparently targeted. I’m getting the one with the girl with the zombie bite t-shirt.
It’s a math joke.
But it’s a junior high boy’s math joke. Which is to say, the math equivalent of a fart. Spegen has the details, above. You don’t lose any SAN points having it explained, unless you laugh once it’s explained; then you roll d20 for how many points you get to keep.
