I get the general impression that this was not the best performance on American Bandstand that was ever recorded. But what the heck; it had a nice beat, and you can dance to it.

I remember Morrison and Sinead O’Connor on Letterman in mid-90’s–Van more than likely in ‘his cups a bit’. Loved how he messed with a clearly rattled O’Connor. I love me mad Irishmen.
