I’ve just gone over the list, and… huh.
- iPad.
- iPad keyboard/carrying case & stylus.
- iPod.
- Camera with video recording capacity.
- Cellphone.
- Tripod.
- Back-up video camera.
- Flash drive.
- A handful of SB cards with as much digital memory as probably existed in 1990. Worldwide.
- Kindle.
- Voice recorder.
…And I’m packing light.

Dont forget all of their corresponding chargers!
Me, for one day at a volleyball tournament:

12 LiPo battery packs (~75 min each)
03 Chargers for LiPo batteries
02 Gorilla pods
02 Regular Tripods
02 3″ Furniture Clamps
02 18″ resusable rubber twist-ties
02 Wide-angle lenses
02 2xTele lenses
01 Fisheye lens for “fun” shots between matches
02 Phones – mine, daughter’s
03 charged spare cellphone bateries
01 AC adapter for cell phone
01 4-outlet 12″ ‘power-squid’ cord
Makes me wonder if I should be calculating encumbrance values.
Don’t forget this guy – movie projector in your pocket. Brookstone is selling. Very tempted to buy but want to hear from others and their experience before I open my wallet!!!

Enjoy your vacation!
Small flashlight and a multitool to fix problems with. Stuff happens.
Sounds like its time to hit the donate button, huh Moe?
A decent smart phone would cover as the ipod and cell phone as well as back up camera/camcorder. Kindle is nice but iPad is fine to read with if your trying to save weight
Spegen: the big thing about the Kindle is that I can read it in direct sunlight. This is proving to be an issue in airports. 🙂
