My original title was rather more direct. Only three words, too: two of which were “Harry Reid.”
Harry Reid, 11/02/2012:
Harry Reid Dismisses Mitt Romney’s ‘Fantasy’ of Bipartisanship
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said today that Democrats would try to block Mitt Romney’s agenda next year if he wins the presidency on Tuesday.
Harry Reid, 11/24/2012:
Reid faces task of mending fences with Republicans after campaign attacks
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) infuriated Republicans during the campaign with his harsh partisan attacks and now faces the delicate task of mending his relationship with the GOP.
Well, you know what they say: “what goes around, comes around.” Also… now would be a good time for Democrats to ask themselves if they really think that Harry Reid is going to get them anything that they want in the next two years, given that for the last two years he’s gotten them nothing, up to and including an actual budget.

Reed was given a pass by the MSM for his accusations against Romney. Remember the firestorm 4 years ago when a Repub stated his goal to make Obama a one termer? McConnell is not going to come out boldly against Reed lest he be blamed for the Fiscal cliff, and he if afraid of the bad press
.
Let the cliff happen, we will be blamed no matter what. Even with the coming global depression, Obama will continue to blame Bush/congress and as we have seen, most of the media will support him. Iknow that the MSM is weakening, but unfortunately that is were the swing voters still get their news.
Every time Reid asks a Republican for a vote/favor, the answer should be, “Not until you publicly state who told you those lies about Romney”.

So…your original title was “Phlebotinum Harry Reid?” ‘Cause even as a Whedon fan, that doesn’t make a lot of sense. Except if I use phlebotinum as a stand-in for…oh. Oh, never mind. No, it makes sense now.
Personally I would have left the original headline, but then I subscribe to the Dick Cheney theory of dealing with one’s political enemies, and Harry Reid is even more contemptible than Patrick “intelligence leak” Leahy.
To paraphrase Spider Robinson, Harry Reid is an infected ingrown toenail of a human being.
