My sense from Twitter is that establishment media types love, love, love [House of Cards] because of the glamorous Machiavellian intrigue it lends to their otherwise mostly dreary beat. If the writers are smart, they’ll cook up a plot next season involving Frank [Underwood] trying to kill someone at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Every media bigshot in America will volunteer for a cameo.
…That would be epic, in fact. And don’t pretend: if they did something revolving around blogging I’d try my best to get RedState at least mentioned, and I’m not ashamed to admit it.

*”Oh, I’m sure that the American version is good enough, but I of course only watched the BBC one.” – The reality? I have too many things that I’m trying to watch already.
House Of Cards is shockingly good.
