Spin-off of Arrow, which I like but haven’t been able to consistently watch. Looks like we’re well along the ‘glut of superhero shows on television’ arc.

“Spin-off of Arrow, which I like…”
.
Really? I stopped watching haf-way through season one. Its anti-corporate message was getting under my skin. Explain to me why I should give it another watch.
…Why? It’s not like I own stock in the production company.
Seems interesting, I’ve been paying too much attention to politics to watch the Arrow though.
Sounds like it’s consistent with the source material, then.
(I’ve caught bits. Some have been good, some have fallen flat, but the latter may just be because I don’t have context.)
Not nearly as anti corp as the comic books are. The second season though made the populist liberal politician be the bad guy and obvious hypocrit. It was a good change of pace. Not all the villians are evil businessmen but that was a significant part of the plot in the first season.
.
I enjoy the show, good storylines and decent production value.
Robin Hood is an anti-corp, rich, nobility, etc. hero.
Green Arrow is obviously based on him. His beginnnings ( via Robin Hood) are from a time when Feudal Lords ruled.
I don’t see why we should get offended by that.
Flash is my favorite DC hero…maybe tied with Batman. Though I’ve always been more a Marvel guy (because until recently, it seemed to have less leftism).
This looks to be in the same vein as Smallville: a sexified re-imagining of the source material for Millennials. Not wild about the costume redesign.
OK, can I vent about the end of the Teen Titans run?
