I… got nothing, sorry.
These are like the most insane tweets I’ve ever seen from an Admin official.. pic.twitter.com/Nf1758N8yr

Except to note that, yea indeed, Brandon Friedman is a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at Housing and Urban Development. Which makes one wonder just what HUD considers professional behavior to be, over there…

PS: OK, one other thought. I think that the guy assumed that being an infantry officer in Afghanistan and Iraq would insulate him from any harsh feedback that might be generated from accusing enlisted men of being psychopaths. Guess we’ll see…
PPS: The next VoteVets get-together that Friedman attends? Awk-ward. Yes, even though they’re apparently Democratic shills.
Pardon me Moe, but what a douchebag. There is a unique pit in Hell being created just for him.
.
As for the politics: With the Veterans Affairs Scandal and now this, all the gains made by Democrats into the military vote is hopefully washing away. I can honestly say I don’t feel bad about that.
I’m sure there’s a few verterans out there currently working with the United Mine Workers or America who feel particularly screwed over lately.

Exactly how is it going to be awkward? We’re talking VoteVets, an organization that thinks climate change is a greater evil than terrorism whose higher up threatened an NCO at the Netroots gathering a few years ago for asking a very simple question.
.
Behavior like Friedman’s is “Tuesday.”
I dunno, man. *NPR* has been yelling at the President over this one.
I’ve been reading about various incidents of scumbaggery from VoteVets for a long time. These people have no sense of shame, but I’m willing to be proven wrong.
.
Wonder if NPR was sobbing after they yelled at him?
Being part of the groupthink matters more than being right.

rule of thumb in the ongoing chickenhawking war that the Left is participating in, enlisted men > officers.
I’ve been arguing with some liberals over this topic on another forum. It is scary how some people can be so partisan that they can’t see the truth even when some liberal pundits are now reporting on it.
Friedman appears to be making the inference that Bergdahl’s platoon officers were as good at their jobs as he was.
I just see it as one more reason to abolish HUD, added to the long list of many reasons.
Friedman is typical of an officer who has a disdain for enlisted men. We see it all the time. I’ll bet his men couldn’t stand him and his leadership skills were lacking.
