Personally, I expect it to be Cleveland.
RNC Selects Cleveland and Dallas as #RNC2016 Finalists
— Ryan Mahoney (@rcmahoney) June 25, 2014
Ohio will just be too important in 2016. As usual, sure, but in 2016 there’s going to be a GOP governor (unless John Kasich implodes, which so far he’s shown precisely zero signs of doing). Besides, Cleveland is pretty danged… undramatic. If you assume that the GOP is going to run a Return to Normalcy campaign (safe assumption), a lack of drama would be ideal.
Also: dear God but Texas gets hot in the summer.

dear God but Texas gets hot in the summer.
Amen.
But, we’ve had some nice rain lately.
Cleveland? Way to lose the Cincinnati vote.
Dallas does bring back good memories of the 1984 GOP convention that was held there. That campaign was the most fun Presidential campaign in my lifetime, since everyone but the hardcore lefties knew that Reagan was going to win re-election and win it big.
Ohio is important to win to get the presidency, but Texas is welcoming, full of Republicans, and home of fantastic Bar-be-que and Tex-Mex. So come on down y’all.
