And this time I have a tracking number and everything. I am morally certain that when I call up the mail carrier tomorrow he or she will give me a cheery Left it on your doorstop, buddy. Not my problem if somebody swiped it and then I’m out another $25*. This would be less annoying, somehow, if it weren’t for the fact that everything else I order through Amazon comes through fine. It’s just this one particular product.
Sorry. Needed to gripe.
Gripe gripe gripe gripe gripe.

*I can get GURPS Witch World for cheaper, but that was the price for a book in good condition. It’s for the collection, at this point.
Are they sending this through the USPS? If so, you’re sh*t out of luck.
Yep. I’ve been sitting on the front porch, in plain sight of the mailbox, when USPS claims to have tried to deliver, nobody else on the street. They are government employees.

FedEx or UPS or nothin’.
I’ve actually had a lot better customer service from the USPS than from FedEx.
(With UPS, I’ve never needed to contact customer service. So they win. Hands down.)
Yup. In however many years of having Amazon Prime (basically since I got my original kindle) I’ve had exactly four packages arrive late or not at all (not counting when Tennessee was under several feet of snow). All delivered by USPS in the last several months. I always leave bad package feedback, hopefully Amazon will get the idea and only use reliable delivery services.
Hmm,
Your carrier doesn’t carry d6s does he? No d4 caltrops to dissuade pursuing canines? Dice bag at his belt? You can’t be too careful these days…
Seriously though, books not making it through is annoying. I hope you can make a claim of some sort.
I have trouble with all the carriers: ups, usps, and Fedex, they all like to claim they delivered but they often end up 1-2 street over, same house numbers different roads. My OGRE was delivered to the wrong address and fedex claimed to have my sig proving it was delivered, that was some fun phone calls to get it straightened out.
