  1. So what are your thoughts. I think we get a much bigger bang for the buck with unmanned missions and see no sense in sending humans out there (beyond orbit) in the immediate future (say the next 50 years at least). Forget Orion, send more and better droids until we have something concrete for people to do besides just say we went somewhere.

    ‘Red Planet’ was an example of good exploration since we only sent humans to Mars after terraforming was well underway. (Another good lesson from that movie is to not put ‘good/evil’ switches on robots, but that’s a whole ‘nother thing.)

  2. I say do both. Human missions will inspire and drive progress much more than unmanned missions.

  3. The important question is did they hire an approved SJW to monitor the clothing choices of the scientists involved?
