You just know that Senator Ron Wyden (D, Oregon) is asking himself what he did to deserve having his town hall disrupted like this.
A town hall meeting with U.S. Sen Ron Wyden was called off Saturday afternoon when “hands up, don’t shoot” protests broke out.
The event, at Portland Community College’s Southeast Campus, was canceled after 45 minutes.
More than 100 protestors entered the Wyden event shortly after 2:30 p.m. shouting, “I can’t breathe” and “hands up, don’t shoot.”
Well… he’s a Democrat, of course. Which means that it’s his political party that called up what they could not put down. Which also means that most of the people who are reading this right now don’t really care if Ron Wyden’s upset.

PS: I’m not even bringing up the entire “town hall was partially called in order to honor a 100 year old World War II veteran” thing. Largely because I suspect that, as adversaries, Navy veteran Dario Raschio finds these people to be distinctly inferior to Imperial Japanese Navy personnel. Certainly the IJN had better aim…

He’s a Democrat, but he’s one of the few relatively good ones.
If only this had happened to Congressman Peter DeFazio, from the People’s Republic of Eugene … *BLINK* Hey, maybe it will!
i wonder if we could arrange something like this for Nancy… it might push her right over the edge, if such a thing remains possible…
