I’m kind of surprised it’s still up, honestly.
Let’s stop for a second, though. Steve Knight was, by the way, justified in telling the guy that grabbed his hand, wouldn’t let it go, and then reached out to slap Rep. Knight on the shoulder – this is all tough-guy nonsense, by the way – that if said guy did that again, Steven Knight would indeed put the guy on his rear. I would have said the same thing. I would have said the same thing if I was a sitting Congressman. That was a physical confrontation that did not respect boundaries*, and if the members of your movement think that they can do that, disabuse them of that notion.
But. Man, Eric Boehlert really stepped in that one, huh? – Because Steve Knight must be crying in his beer over the thought at how Latinos might react to seeing him telling an anti-immigration dude where to head on in. Ladies and Gentlemen: Media Matters for America! Keep them funded! – because otherwise they might be replaced with a more competent shop.

*And if you don’t think that the Activist Left would jsut love an excuse to escalate to the same level and beyond, you don’t know a single, solitary thing about the Activist Left.
This is so confusing. MMA is complaining that a GOP Rep threatened an ANTI immigration protester? Is there a typo somewhere in there? …. I don’t get it.
.
But, if you think that anyone from MMA respects borders, personal or international, well….

Well, anti-immigration activists are also leftists, they’re the part of the Labor Movement that has disavowed the Democrat Party over immigration.
And the Labor Movement is/has been pretty vile. Just look at Wisconsin.
Media Matters doesn’t.
It’s gone now.
