A lot, apparently:
This isn’t a sit-com kind of movie where we laugh at the absurdity that grows out of an absurd situation. It’s a comedy with character, and the absurd situation is actually kind of terrifying. In order to maintain tension we aren’t allowed to laugh at it very much. That’s fine. There’s plenty of funny elsewhere.
I’ll have to think about it, then.
85% of people on RottenTomatoes liked it, and it’s got a 95% positive reviewers’ score.
I thought it was a riot. Jason Statham is the show-stealer.
He sold me on it, that’s for sure.
There are vanishingly few professional viewers whose views I respect … Howyrd not being a professional but rather an amateur with a very deep steeping in science fiction tropes, I trust … even when he gets beyond those tropes.

This goes on my “suggest on the next rainy day” list.
