Interesting comment-and-response here.
Hillary Clinton’s first national TV ad is a defensive one, trying to rebut negatives rather than sell her? Wow. Her #s must be terrible.

It’s to set the narrative battle space with DC reporters. https://t.co/Bry1QSqixi — Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) October 6, 2015
Having watched the ad*, I agree on both points. What makes it particularly entertaining is that the DC press corps is in fact a good deal less inclined to tolerate Hillary Clinton’s shenanigans than they’ve been inclined to tolerate Barack Obama’s. This does not mean that they won’t be in the tank for her, but she’s going to have to work the room first. Does Hillary Clinton know how to work the room? Past history suggests that the answer is no.
Gonna be a fun primary!

*It’s not bad enough to show on its own hook, and nobody’s paying me to show it, either.
No idea how well that’s going to work out .. Clinton could charm the pants off the press corps (very Kennedy-esque, Bubba) but Hillary doesn’t seem to have the gift.
.
A good offense is the best defense, so .. why is it that she’s not just being offensive?

She’s being terrible offensive.
.
Oh, you meant in her campaign.
And I was thinking the Republicans were having a hard time connecting with and winning over their base.
If, by “Republicans”, you mean “anybody but Trump” then .. unfortunately … Duh!

Hilly has all the charisma of the Bubonic plague, plus the demeanor of Ivan the Terrible. What’s not to elect?
