Liberal law professor of some note. Clerked for both Posner and Scalia who liked him for his skill as a lawyer. Primarily famous for his work on copyright and information law. Generally prefers light regulation. Kind of an anachronism in the Democrat party these days in that while he is a lefty, he’s not a hack.
