It really was all downhill after “Ten”. Yeah, they still make decent cash, but they were never musically relevant after their first album. I remember listening to the BLAZE in Chicago when Lou Brutus stopped playing a single off the “Vitalogy” right in the middle saying “I’m sorry I can’t play this crap anymore” and started playing something else. Brutus left the station not too long after, but that was it for Pearl Jam in Chicago.
Actually, it was probably the ROCK 103.5. The Blaze was an earlier Chicago rock station at the same channel.
