There’s yet another set of primaries tomorrow to white-knuckle our way through, because it’s been that kind of primary; but until then I don’t really expect there to be anything much going on. Besides, I’m on my third idea for an RPG column for PJ Lifestyle and absolutely nothing will consent to gel in my mind. So… open thread?

Hmm. Two hour drive.
I’ve driven longer for less 😉
And another set on Tuesday. (I actually get to vote in a relevant primary! First time ever.)
I wish I could say with certainty that Cruz will win my state in a walk.
But the state’s changed a lot in the last decade, and I really don’t know. He’ll do very well indeed in most of the state, but nearly 40% of the population lives in the Boise area, and a ridiculous amount of California expats have settled there. Still, Labrador is strongly backing him, and he’s got a major power base there.
I’m cautiously optimistic.
Okay, this is the most that I’ve laughed about anything political in a long time, and the most surreal writing I’ve read since Hunter S. Thompson died. This is Ace of Spades’s Debate Scorecard for the Detroit debate. Needless to say, it gets NSFW, especially in the absolutely hilarious long paragraph in the Donald Trump section:

Parts I can quote without getting NSFW– about Ted Cruz:
Continues making the strategic mistake of telling people what he actually believes and what he’d actually do, which our current culture reads as “insincerity” and “sanctimony.”
