Pumpkin farm! The eldest insisted that we pick a pumpkin instead of getting it in a supermarket (the younger son is fine with supermarkets, so we may have to stop on the way back). Between that and the carving and maybe the Renn Faire on Sunday if the weather stays great, it’s going to be a busy weekend. I’m already wondering what to do with the goop. I have yet to be really happy with the way that the roasted pumpkin seeds come out; so please, by all means offer suggestions. As well as for the rest of the goop.
But no soups. Bad memories of pumpkin soups.
Let him get whatever he wants.
So long as he carries it himself.
I’ll send you a few recipes to your email.
It looks like the weather tomorrow is going to be *incredible*. Maryland Renaissance Festival actual sold out on Saturday — they shut down online ticket sale a little after noon, and stopped sales at the door not long after. I heartily recommend going… but I also recommend going early. Go see the Steele Sisters while you’re there, too. 🙂
