  1. It’s actually not bad, not good, but watchable. More of a common buddy cop show vs the more dark original Lethal Weapon. Honestly the sequels are worse than the show especially 3 and 4.

  2. There are times in life you just have to shake your head, and accept that life is fundamentally absurd.

Seeing that commercial a few weeks back was one of those times.

  3. It’s actually REALLY good! The first episode is a sort-of remake of the first movie, but the rest of the episodes are their own thing. It has great, deeper writing than the movies. It takes place in Los Angeles, but the show takes a dim view of drug use and it has no time for PC nonsense.

It is not insulting to the original characters while being their own people. The main characters are showing that the police are NOT monsters and they are strong role-models.

    1. I’m in agreement with you. It is pretty good so far. I like the actors and the show is pretty fun so far, even with Riggs suicidal tendencies.

  4. I can accept the first movie, and Mel Gibson’s portrayal of a broken, nearly suicidal cop who is trying to make it day by day. Not that it was true to life, but it was ok by hollywood standards for what someone who is mentally ill looks like. The guy in the trailer looks too happy, and is apparently fine with suspects dying right and left.
