You know something? I’m going to allow it.
If for no other reason than Russell Crowe is in it as Dr. Jekyll, which means that at some point in this series he’s going to go literally Mr. Hyde on somebody, and I’m kind of looking forward to that. I had a heck of a good time watching Russell Crowe in The Nice Guys, after all. And I’m admittedly also kind of looking forward to seeing them go the full Universal Monsters route. It’s been eighty years since they made those flicks, after all. That’s enough time, surely.
For a while I thought they’re going to do Anne Rice’s Ramses the Damned, but that’s probably not going to sell.
So is this in the universe of Dracula unbound?

I am curious. Much better than seeing 5′ nothing Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher, at least.
