Basically, a certain card game company did a Super Bowl ad where they showed a potato for thirty seconds. That’s it: no music, no explanation, just a potato. Well, it had the word ‘Advertisement’ on it. And then they turned around and did a fairly hysterical ‘apology’ about the entire thing, which was framed as being one of those pretentious self-criticisms companies do when they do something stupid.
Obviously, the entire idea is to spread the name of the company and their product far and wide. For free. Alas for them, I reserve the right to not work for free. Which is a shame, because it was a clever concept and they’re to be commended for it. But, hey, click the link and you’ll be able to see the rest of this story…
Did you remember that aid company also raised money for the Democrats selling Trump and Hilary packs for their game?
said company. said. not aid.
You might very well think that that detail had an effect on the post, but I couldn’t possibly comment.
