(Via Geeks Are Sexy) This 2016 Amazon UK review for the Mustard USB Cup Mug Warmer Coaster – Dark Brown Hot Cookie is a genuine landmark entry in the field of ‘relentlessly funny Amazon reviews.’ It starts with the title (“Two engineers, one cup: a scientific investigation into Mustard’s 50ºC claim., 8 Jan. 2016″) and goes on from there. Science and engineering is used; and, given that my wife read this review laughing at the turns of phrase rather than at the experimental log, I am forced to assume that the science and engineering is largely correct. It’s definitely entertaining, especially when the author of it descends into comments to sort out a bunch of people on Reddit.
