Getting the kids to sit still through a movie-theater movie is still a pain, but it’d be weird to go by myself. Also, IO already literally just saw a movie today and I more or less have a quota for these things these days. Especially since the new King Kong film is just around the corner and it looks totally sweet.
Thoughts?
I want to take my munchkins to see it, but this weekend is already pretty packed.
(Granted, it’s packed with things that I don’t want to do in the first place. But that just means I can’t unilaterally reprioritize without provoking a fight.)
A friend’s review on facebook: “Lego Batman: the Movie.
Hilarious.” Her tastes and mine coincide fairly often. I rarely go see movies in theaters these days, so I probably won’t go. Take it for what you will.
I kinda feel like the only reason to see a movie in the theater anymore is to avoid being spoiled.
It’s absolutely worth seeing! Basically, it’s a parody of every Batman movie and TV show ever. It’s worth seeing if for no other reason than to ensure that 50 Shades ends the weekend in a distant 2nd place.
Take car seats. Strap them in. Problem solved.
Once they’re passed a certain mass, that .. ceases being a simple solution.

My approach with Junior Cat, back in the day, was to make sure he had plenty of exercise before the movie.
